My Siemans hb86p.70b, Compact Convection Microwave Oven
It was of late working slower, then it starting sparking and I seen the center part on the top had cracked. A few broken bits came down. What is this part and is it easy to replace? Thanks John

This appears to be an combination Microwave and oven! So I changed it from the Cars and Trucks Category. I also edited your text properly into a real question with 'make model (what it is) as required in all questions here on Fixya.
If that part is in the top or the rear, it is the part that hold the fan. If it is the bottom it holds the turntable, but unlikely as those metal bits either side look like the element.
If you saw sparks, it could be two things
1. The element just burnt out, they spark as they rupture and blow. It would also explain the slow cooking
or
2. it is all the muck in there, combi-ovens need to be kept spotlessly clean.
Nothing in a microwave is easy to replace, because of all the security screws. The microwave side has enough voltage (10,000volts DC) to stop your heart in the Capacitor and microwaves can blind you in 15 seconds.
