My sons gator has two problems. When he pushes on the pedal it will go for a bit and then stop. It used to just take a few pushes and it would start again, but it has gotten worse and worse and won't go for more than a few feet after sitting for a while. Also, the back wheels have stopped spinning, sometimes. I'm not very handy, I'm the mom, but would love to get it working again. He loves it!

Hi, its probably the thermal breaker under the shifter. simply remove the screw on the aft side of the shifter holding it in and slide it forward and out of the way. the thermal breaker is the metal fuse looking thing, pry it out and replace it with a 40 amp fuse if you can find it. if you cant, i usually bypass it all together. dont worry about a short, the battery has a 30 amp fuse on it under the blue cover/handle. those are prone to blowing under heavy loads, like 2 kids or more on it and going up hill in the grass, blows everytime. the breaker resets after a few seconds unless it has gone bad. problem #2, probably youve got a broken gearboxes. try and listen to see if the motor is spining, it might even sound like its clanking around. if its trying but no tire movement, definitely broken gearbox, new on can be found here: http://peg-peregoparts.com/vehicle.php?num=IGOD0004good luck!!!
