My sony ericcson w890i alerts, alarms & ringtone stopped working!
My sony ericcson w890i alerts, alarms, ringtone all stopped working all of a sudden but the walkman still works. weird! I have tried restoring factory settings but still doesn't work! Any suggestions?

Do a Master Reset on the phone which may help. To do this make sure anything stored onto your phone is stored to the SIM or Memory Card; i.e. phone contacts./messages/pictures. Go to Settings and under General scroll down to ‘Master Reset’ then reset all. It should switch itself off and reboot within a few minutes. Give it couple of days before you start using it.
P.S: This is problem shared by many w890i so if ur phone is in warranty, it would be a good idea to call them up.
