I think you have an older system with windows 7 and maybe a irq conflict on your audiobus. between commercial factory cd and the default windows choice look at possible the yellow exclamation marks by the hardware drivers under hardware in the configuration panel if microsoft windowsxp / or 7 is your software. maybe the computer case have more connectors ac audio and a hdaudio choice that the wrong connector is used. but first try with a linux llive cd/ dvd .
Hi, the speakers are fine it's the motherboard socket for the speakers that's got the problem. You could buy a sound card for one of your pc board slots that would give you your sound back.
