My SSD died today. I think. I have a ADATA500 series (s592) SSD drive. It has been installed and operational for about a week. Today i wake up, turn on my computer, and it tells me to insert a boot disk (ohnoes!) I noticed BIOS gives me an option to boot from this drive but Windows doesn't see it for install? Am I right to assume this drive died? Is there another way to check? I'd hate to send back a functional drive

If you have a bootable drive / CD, use it to access automatic repair. it may be because of a corrupted boot file, preventing it from booting.
