My stock Bose 6 CD changer model # 16222546 is giving me problems. It started displaying "disk read error" when loading some disks sometimes. I attempted to clean the laser a couple of times with a Q-tip and alcohol as well as windex but to no avail. When I removed the changer and disassembled it, I saw it wouldn't load the disks completely unless I held it upside down. Even then, and after a 2nd attempt at cleaning the laser, even when the disks loaded, it wouldn't read them (could this be because the case was open and the ambient light was interfering with the laser?). What should I do next?
