3 star key screws on the base of the unit, loosen the power cable from its clips then with a flat head screwdriver separate the 2 plastic parts starting from the back taking care not to damage the fan motor. I managed to get my motor working with a bit of a clean and making sure the motor and paddle were aligned or a new motor swap involves 2 screws and push on connectors, no soldering.

ok update on actifryer , located Torx security spanner T10 & T15 from ferntree gully nuts and bolts, and found that it may be the gear box on the motor thats causing it to stop turning now and then , luckily all spares i need are on Aus ebay site , so that should keep this thing working for another few years to come .ok update on actifryer , located Torx security spanner T10 & T15 from ferntree gully nuts and bolts, and found that it may be the gear box on the motor thats causing it to stop turning now and then , luckily all spares i need are on Aus ebay site , so that should keep this thing working for another few years to come .
If you look on ebay there is a chap in the uk that will fix or buy your broken actifry , and most the parts that wear out are for sale on there too. Not sure if i can post links here so look on ebay for the user name " actifryman"
