My thermostat rlv4300 will not change periods at the schedule time. I've verify the time, even change it but nothing. For exemple when it should say 1st period the thermostat show 3 or when it should be 4 periods it show 1? I've recently bought 3 thermostat and I'm having problem with two of them?
After sending two emails to Honeywell support, they finally did admit to problems with these stats. The following statement is from Honeywell support. Thank you for contacting Honeywell. We are aware about the issue with these thermostats. However, we have rectified the issue in newly available thermostats. You may purchase TH104plus which is a direct replacement.Hope this helps!
This means that you have the AM and PM backwards on the time. It goes by time so make sure you have the proper time programmed. Verify if its AM or PM when you go through the settings and also set the main clock on the stat and make sure of the AM or PM...
I bought four of these at Home Depot in April 2011 and only one of them would work in auto as programmed. Thought I would phone Honeywell and ask if there was any issues with these. Fellow I talked to said he had not heard of any problems. Checked out reviews on the net, only to find similar problems that many people were having. Phoned back to Honeywell, talked to another person and she said that yes they had been having problems with these and best not to take them back and buy the same model. She suggested the rlv4500,but I couldn't find any. Not sure why they wouldn't pull them off the shelf and save us all a lot of time and frustration. I will send an email to honeywell support stating my views. Hope this helps.I bought four of these at Home Depot in April 2011 and only one of them would work in auto as programmed. April 28, 2011 Vancouver I have the same Issue. My RLV4300A does not follow program on Sunday. First time, I called Honeywell they, suggested me to exchange my unit for another one of the same model. Next day I exchanged it at Home Depot, but it has the same issue. I called Honeywell again. This time they said that it is known issue and company is currently working on it. The suggested me to return RLV4300A to Home Depot and buy RLV430A or RLV4500April 28, 2011 Vancouver I have the same Issue. My RLV4300A does not follow program on Sunday.
