My Tilia Foodsaver 370 won't turn on. A light comes on inside the unit, but heat strip won't get hot, and the vacuum won't run.

You have to press hard to make it close than it should work

what do you need to press hard? It closes fine, the vacuum just runs all the time regardless if I\'m attempting to seal or not.
