My troy-bilt tb20cs string trimmer was running fine when I ran out of string. I added string and now the trimmer will NOT start. I tried unscrewing the spark plug, holding it on the metal frame of the engine and pulling the started rope the see if there was any spark and saw NONE. Should I see spark when I do this???? Any suggestions on what to do now???
You should have spark check the on and off switch could be bad sometimes you can pull switch out and disconnect the two wires remove the spark plug and ground it pull starter cord and check for spark
