My tv the on off button is blinks 3 time the does nothing
Is there any other way of getting it to turn on other than changing the resisters way in the front i got it to turn on the other day by turning the on of button on & off really fast

This sounds like a component failure in the power supply board. You can order a new one or have it serviced.
