My unit has stopped working. There is power to the unit amd the following control buttons are lit: high speed, low speed, and the one that shows wavey lines with dots above it (don't know what its for)
Sounds like your fan is shot/worn out. Remove the exhaust fan. Unplug the fan, then use a screwdriver or a nut driver and socket to take out the screws that attach it to the hood.Then replace with a new one. FIRST THING would be to test power to the fan with a voltmeter. If there is no power to fan, then fan is probably good and the main control board could be faulty or you could have a bad relay of some sort, that, you can test with an ohmmeter in the ohm setting to see if the relay is good.
