My usb device was working fine until yesterday when I plugged it in and I kept getting an Unknown device error with the following message: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" I have tried using it in several different computers and OS but with the same result. This is a Dane-Elec 4GB USB Flash Drive. Please help!

Code 43 errors are nearly always caused by a driver issue. However, since you have tried the device in several different computers with the same result, I believe that your flash drive has gone bad or become damaged. Unfortunately this is not an uncommon problem with flash drives. Like any storage device on the computer, make sure you are backing up what is on your flash drive.
