My VCR is not detected
Just installed InstantDVD Recorder...I'm using a SONY VCR...when I try to record, the VCR is not detected. Where it should display "Pinnacle 500-USB" is completely blank. What am I doing wrong?

Hi and Welcome to fixya!
Suggest to you to disconnect all the usb device connected at the back of your computer then connect your 500-usb device. Open your Instant DVD recorder and choose go directly to Advance mode. On step number 1 make sure to choose 500-usb and not the Pinnacle file capture. After you choose it then go ahead and turn your VCR on and hit the play button.
