My verizon LG VX8350 just blinks the Verizon logo on and off
I attempted to power up my LG VX8350 and it just flashes on and off the Verizon logo. The only way to make it stop is to remove the battery. Then when i try to power it on again same thing.

I just encountered the same problem after installing a new battery in the phone. Verizon Logo blinking on and off. I'm not sure of the order of things I did that fixed it, so I'll tell you exactly what I did, then you can try a variation. I took out the battery, held the power-on button as I installed the battery, then as it started blinking again, I held down the two buttons above the send and end buttons (normally on-screen would label them "message" and "contacts". I pushed them (I believe) simultaneously, but who knows, maybe one getting pushed did the trick and the other being pushed had nothing to do with it. Anyway, I then heard the typical Verizon power-up tones and the phone went back to working.
The variation is that maybe you don't have to hold down the power-on button as you install the battery, maybe it's just hitting one or both of those buttons I described above, pushed independently or together. Sorry I couldn't be specific, but I don't know which part of that whole procedure made it work.
