My Verizon (PalmOne) of 5 years now (one of the first out) has went into a continuous "palmOne" - "palm POWERED" loop after adding a new appointment record. I have tried a system reset, warm reset to no avail. I can get to the hard reset screen but I have not yet went to the option since I only have a current backup on an application using a memory card. Any suggestions?
Try holding the joypad down, while resetting - it may allow the device to reboot (a sort of safe mode). You may then be able to go and delete the appointment. After deleting, switch off and on (to flush the NVM buffer), then do a standard reset to go back to normal operation.
