My vespa et2 50cc will flood when sitting overnight it fills the crankcase full of fuel makes it hard to start runs ok when fuel is cleared there is no fuel tap to turn off fuel so it is always flooded when sitting for a long time even fills exhaust over long periods
Sometimes the fuel tap sticks open and it will then flood. I solved My problem on My vespa et-2, by installing a manual tap from motorcycle superstore about $9.00

It sounds like your floats sticking in the carb leaving it open all the time. take the carb to bits and clean it replacing all seals.
