Are you are saying the act of inserting the SD card into the camera is pushing the slide lock on the edge of the card into the "lock" position? Try moving the slide with a fingernail. If it slides "easily" it is probably a defective package although it may still accept data. Have you used it successfully before? In this camera? In another SD device? If it slides "loosely" you can try putting a small piece of VERY thin tape (not duct or masking tape) tightly around the card, being careful not to cover any of the contacts. If the slide doesn't move, go ahead and shoot. You may have trouble removing it later but at least you have your pics. If the slot still pushes the tab into the lock position, I hope you have another card you can use. Good luck!
Oops, I see you said ANY card. Is the lock slide being moved on EVERY card you try? If so, I'd say the camera slot has become defective/deformed in such a way as to put inappropriate pressure on the slide, in which case the camera needs service. Has it EVER worked correctly? Been dropped, etc?Oops, I see you said ANY card. Is the lock slide being moved on EVERY card you try?
