My Vizio developed a black circle in the bottom corner. Eventually, the black circle disappeared. Now when I turn it on these horizontal lines develop on the bottom of the screen. Any ideas?
Vizio claims this is due to an impact, but I disagree. When discussing the disappearance of the black circle, Vizio says that the panel may have separated from the screen upon impact and later reconnected with it (thus explaining the disappearing circle). Additionally, when initially inspecting the black circle, I noticed that the frame of the TV was singed and had melted a bit. Vizio won't help me at all, I just want to try to fix it before trashing it at this point.
