It is in protection mode, it shuts down the amplifiers power supply so that it does not destroy itself. You may have a shorted output transistor.

Pull the fuse out while its still on and put it back in, mine does the same thing but when i pull the fuse it kind of gives it a jump start and works, but you have to do this everytime you start your car. kind of a pain in the *** but works
