My washer used to get stuck on a cycle and would not jump to the next cycle. I would simply push the knob to the next cycle and all was fine. after about 2 years of this, it got stuck again as usual and when I went to push the know to the next cycle, the washer shut off completely. Now, It will not start anymore. Any help would be great!
Your timer has failed. (it is what is behind the knob) If you have a phillips screwdriver - you can replace it yourself in about 30 minutes. Reply with the exact model #, and I can link you to a replacement part.
The actual model number should be something like.... 110.28532700 (which i believe is your model #)
CLICK HERE to see the timer. CLICK HERE to order the timer. CLICK HERE to see a blowup of the control panel.
here is a quick video that will be similar to the way you access the inside of the control panel.
