My washer used to get stuck on a cycle and would not jump to the next cycle. I would simply push the knob to the next cycle and all was fine. after about 2 years of this, it got stuck again as usual and when I went to push the know to the next cycle, the washer shut off completely. Now, It will not start anymore. Any help would be great!

If you have a phillips screwdriver - you can replace it yourself in about 30 minutes.
