My washing machine will not spin or drain,only fill up with water
My wshing machine will not spin or drain, or agitate. I was trying to wash clothes yesterday, and the machine filled up with water but it stopped after it filled up. It wont spin or drain the only ting it will do fill with water

Couple things could be happening;
Scenario 1: Your motor is dead, or the electrical connections leading to it are chewed up and no longer send electricity to the motor. If you have a voltage tester, you should see if you are getting power to it.
Scenario 2: The safety switch that stops the motor from spinning when the lid is open is compromised.. This is possible, but less likely, as the motor would still spin in agitate mode..
