I have owned my NAD 7140 for forever, it's been a great little receiver but the Station Preset memory tends to lose the saved stations from time to time. The power cord is never unplugged and it works fine otherwise.
How does one fix this? Is there a battery inside that needs replacement or a capacitor that holds the station memory alive? I have some skills with electronics and can use a DVM etc but so far have never bothered to open the case to explore, as we just reset the station memory and keep on listening!
