Nakajima AE830 is not typing the correct letter
When typing, the character on the page does not match the key that is struck. It does not consistently type a different letter (fore ex when hittint the "c" you may get a "p" or and "e", etc). I have ordered a replacement printwheel. Do you have any other suggestions?

I just ran across this one. The pitch selector on the L. side of the keyboard may be in the PS position or just gotten dirty, slide it up and down a few times leave it at 10 or 12 and try it.

Although there was not visible problem or damage - we found that replacing the print wheel resolved our problem.
