NEC LT260 Powers on and that is all it does. All I see is the light from the bulb come out. Normally if the projector was working properly i would get a blue screen and be able to manipulate the menus but i do not get this, just the light from the bulb comes out. Is the control unit on this thing blown?

Yes, the control processor of the printer has failed. Since the only way to replace it would be to replace the entire mainboard it means that the projector is dead, time for a new one.
