Necchi 4757 - need to know which way the needle goes, and is treaded... from to back or left side to right? I recently bought a used one and it had no needle in it. I also need help with proper threading. thanks

Insert the needle with the flat side to the back. Thread the machine from the spool, left to the guide on top/rear, over the top towards the front, around the tensioner and up, around the take-up lever from right to left, down throught th semi-hidden guide, through the needle clamp guide and thread the needle through the front to the back.
