My computer is an Emachine T6524 with a Amd 64 athlon 3500+ 2.2 GHz processor. It is not under warrenty so Emachine people could care less about my problem. This all happened after a complete(destructive) restore. I am also having problems with a PCI Simple Communications Controller device. I am not very computer oriented and this is definately the reason I have been experiencing difficulties. I use my machine for internet and gaming. The internet seems fine but I can no longer install game software. My problem is not the end of the world but it is frustrating.
