Need an updated driver (OS 10.6.3) for my SmartDisk reader
I have an older Smart Disk "floppy" reader. I need an updated driver for it. I am using my "24 inch" iMac (2.93GHz). I am running Macintosh OS 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard).
I have a SmartDisk: FDUSB-TM2 (Mitsumi Model # D353FUE). (It is a 5V 500mA MAX.)
I need to download a "digital image", along with some other data. I have the info on a Kinko's (now, FedEx Office) "floppy" and I can't get the disc to show up on my desktop.
Anyone know where I can find the appropriate driver(s)??? Or, does someone have a "work-around" that I could use in this situation?

its basically the same driver and the only one that I could locate for MAC ..I really hope it will work cause this kinda devices do not have updates these days..

Hello, follow this Link which brings you to the Mitsumi Download Page. Scroll down until you see "FDD and Media Drive" Section. The download you need is 2nd from the bottom of that list titled "USB FDD
