I bought a brand new unlocked motorola atrix 4g (running android operating system 2.3) cell phone to use with consumer cellular cell service. After much research and discussion with both consumer cellular and motorola I am still unable to access data and mms messages on the phone. Here is a list of things I have tried: - applying Consumer Cellular APN settings (the ones loaded on the phone were at&t, it is a factory setting from motorola that can't be wiped from the phone, or so I am told). - check to make sure all data settings were enabled I was told by the customer service rep. at motorola that there should be some way around whatever is blocking the data from consumer cellular and that they should be able to tell me what it is. Consumer cellular claims there is no fix and that some phones simply won't work with their network (which they failed to tell me up front). Is there any fix that either company does not know of or is unwilling to divulge that will allow the atrix to use the data service from consumer cellular?
