I took my American Standard Lifetime Over-the-rim Whirlpool toe tap drain plug cover out of the drain to clear a clog and then decided to take the cover apart to clean. It is in 9 pieces (cover, rubber gasket, large screw, large spring, small spring, 2 plastic pieces that fit together and screw to cap, plastic ring, plastic cylinder with grooves) and i as hard as I tried to keep in order, I now do not remember how to put back together. I searched the internet for help, looked on American Standard's site and even contacted them. They do not have any instructions on how to put it back together (unbelievable- I cannot be the 1st person to do this and need help). The drain plug works perfect and I don't want to waste it having to buy another one. Can anyone help? I would so appreciate it!
