I have a Kwikset shelburne deadbolt which I am trying to disassemble. The inside deadbolt lock does not show the screws as they are concealed. Also, close to where the bolt is attached to the door panel, I noticed a very tiny hole possibly for a pin to be inserted which will somehow enable the concealing panel to be removed and screws will be revealed but I cannot figure it out. I inserted a thin long nail in this hole and tried to wiggle the deadbolt but it won't come out or become loose. I do not have a manual for it so I don't know how to disassemble this type of lock. Can you help me figure out how can I remove the inside bolt so that the lock can be disassembled?
