Using a Spool gun and an adaptor to your welder is better, but you need to open your wallet and spend at least 600 bucks. The modest way to go is:
1) change the gun liner to a teflon kind one instead of steel. 2) Change your drive rolls for knurled one instead of grooved. 3) oversize your contact tip for more wire feed freedom. 4) use straight argon gas. 5) use aluminum 4043 type 035 size.
