Turn the handwheel until the take-up lever is at it's highest position.
Set the upper tension dial/knob to 5. The threading path is as follows:
From the spool around the top guide, down through the right slot, up the left slot, through the eye of the take-up lever from right to left, down through the guide(s), through the needle from front to back.
That doesn't make sense. The take-up lever is on the right side and the only clear path from the top guide is going left to right... at least on my Riccar Super Stretch 550.
I do need a manual though. Any ideas where to get one? That doesn't make sense. The take-up lever is on the right side and the only clear path from the top guide is going left to right... at least on my Riccar Super Stretch 550. I do need a manual though. Any ideas where to get one?
