Need to remove the inside door knob from an entry set
I want to lubercate the inside mechanism. Can't seem to get oil in to where it will free things up. Looks to me that I have to remove the knob to get at the insides.
The knob has a small ''D'' indenture on the smaller diameter on one side of the knob and a shallow slot on the other side

I WANT TO REMOVE THE INSIDE KNOB OF MY KWIKSET ENTRY LOCK SET SO I TIGHTEN HANDLE
These locks have a factory lubricate and should not need any extra during lifetime. If lock is malfunctioning may need to do other adjustments ei.. loosen throw bolt screws a bit. It is ok to spray lube into key slot for key.
