Need to remove the 'throwing rotor' it has 2 pins going through the shaft which to not appear to have any type of bolt or screw head. How do I remove them? This is an old yardworks with a tecumseh engine
I would clean the shaft and pins so you can see if the pins are actually not small Allen set screws. If not then:
If and I mean IF they are "roll pins" they can be tapped out using a nail or pin punch slightly smaller than their size (around). Be sure to save them to reuse when you install a new rotor. if you use a nail, file the point down until it is flat before you try this.
The last approach is to "Drill them out" and replace with a small bolt afterwards. Be sure to use a "split" washer so they won't come loose easily.
