NES console - white or green tv screen
Hi there. A while back I bought a NES console from a fella close by. Works great. He also gave me another system for free as the outside case is a bit grotty and he didnt think he could sell it, but it needed a new 72 pin connector in it which I bought and was installed in Feb 2008. He also disabled the Region lock for me so I could play games from the US, so I tend to use this one to play all the games from the US and AUS so I am not changing consoles. Now when my son puts a game in, the tv screen is grey or green and the game is not playing. I inserted the game in the original NES console that I bought from him and it plays fine (other than the fact that the region lock isnt disabled in that one and it blinks....yes I need to get it disabled in that one too LOL)....so I know its not the games. Where do I start??? Thanks in advance for your help :))))

First off flip your nes upside down and remove the screws to the cover of nes..... then flip your nintendo over and remove the cover.... remember you just voided your warranty for your nes..... then proceed to do the following:
find Chip 3193A and find the 4th pin on the left hand side near the blue coils. Remove or pull back the pin and your NES Will play Pal and NTCS games.
