Netgear dg834gt problem connecting to hp pavilion dv4000
Hi iam having a problem connecting my wireless hub to my laptop which is a hp pavilion dv4000. I can find the wireless box via the wireless search on the laptop but i cannot connect, the message that appears everytime i try to connect is, "windows is unable to connect to the selected network. the network may no longer be in range. please refresh the list of availiable networks, and try to connect again".

So i refreshed the list and the same problem occurs over and over again, I have been through the settings changed channels, encrypted passwords, even took of the encrption to try if it connects openly but still the same problem.

Iam so confused about this problem as I have never come across such a thing withing the time of working with computers. Much appreciated if I can get a fast reply as the laptop will need to be in use for university.
