Network connection lost since sp3
Last week automatic update tried to install windows xp sp3 got part way through and got the message "access denied " then it uninstalled the sp3 but since then i have lost my network connection I have tried system restore but this fails to work please help

Go to Add/Remove Programs in the control panel.
Next find Service Pack 3 and select "Uninstall"
This will roll your PC back to XP SP2, if you had SP2 installed prior to installing SP3.
