Never been able to get satellite signal
I never could get a satellite signal so I took it to a installer and he couldn't get a signal either. He tried for 20 minutes and nothing happened. A map appears on the screen but it's not my area and it says it's searching...... I called the toll free number listed in the instruction book and it was disconnected. I've wrote an e-mail to the address given in the book and it's never been answered.

If you exit navigation and go to the main manu, you can go into setup and do a GPS reset, if this does not get it going then your GPS receiver or antenna has failed...
