Nikon AF-S VR 70-200mm f2.8G r18 error
My Nikon AF-S VR 70-200mm f2.8G will not auto focus. it will auto focus. the error code in the viewfinder is r18. I am experiencing this on both my D2x and D3. Would any of you be able to provide assitance?

Your motor may have gone bad. Try sending it to PhotoTech Repair Service in NYC. They are Nikon authorized, and can do the repair under warranty if you still have it. Also if you join they're facebook page, they will give you a 10% discount.
