No audio for tv?
Hello,
I'm not sure what I did but I can't get the audio for my tv (big screen tv)to work. I played around with the Zenith system and I can finally get the radio(FM station) to play on the zenith system but I can't get the audio for the TV (and the channel which is on)to play. Could somebody help me out please? P.S. I do not have a cable box now.
Thanks!

Since not all devices have the same in/outputs available, if you are trying to interconnect them, it helps to know the make and model of both, not just one.
There are several possibilities to connect external devices to your 'home theatre' system.
The one we have delivers the best when S-video is used but that requires a separate path for sound.
The standard colors for audio in and outputs are red(=right) and white(= left) and often cables are supplied with the same color coding.
The usual connections will be named 'Line in' and 'Line out.' The outputs deliver specified voltage into a specified load (or termination) and the inputs expect that condition.
This ensures that volume controls act in a sensible manner.
