Report "no connection to a pc and the hum won't go away. I opened the right speaker and it has 2 circuit boards in it... one for the controls on the front and the other for the inputs on the back. I suspect that a component on the power input jack got zapped but the 20 volt dc xfrmr is okay. Any help as to where I might get it repaired or buy a replacement board would be most helpful. I live in Longwood FL where Recoton had their plant [where I got 2 sets] but can't find any repair houses here now"
