If the unit is new and never been set up post installation, that's probably your problem. You have to go into the Installation Wizard and set the unit up properly. There are multiple choices of displays and scanner units to select to obtain the configuration you have. Then the radar has to be optimized (auto-tuned). If you don't have access to an installation manual and feel confident yourself, you'll need to contact a local Furuno authorized dealer or call Furuno USA tech support and they'll walk you through it.
