first try updating your drivers at www.ati.com, I have to ask you to double check the connector your using to goto the tv, if your using a S-video cable check the port on the card your connecting to, if there are more then 4 pin holes in the connector you need a pigtail to connect to your tv, many video cards use a cable that is sold seperatly to connect to a tv, connector look like a s-video connector and a s-video cable will plug into it, but instead of 4 pin holes it has 7, 9, or 12 connectors depending on the card, and the type of output the cable has. most are 9 pin with composit, s-video, and componite connectors on them.
