No electrics on my ybr 125 2007
Went to start my bike after standing in the shed for a week and there is no power at all, replaced battery (both hold good charge) checked fuse, also had a spare rectifier so replaced that and checked for continuity (good). The fuse is fine but the live from the fuse (after starter solenoid) to the ignition connector (behind the headlight) doesn't register any continuity or voltage? According to the the wiring diagram there is nothing between so could it be a snapped or shorted wire i don't want to start chopping into the loom as it looks fine with no obvious wear on it and all taped parts look good. I should mention that bypassing this positive directly after the fuse straight to the ignition connector had the bike running but only from the battery obviously the rectifier and/or something else that had been bypassed, also when the bike was running like this the tacho wouldn't work and i believe these are electric on a yamaha.

The startr relay is probly fried--or a bad ground--or an open------clymer manuals are the best for detail--if they dont punlish one for that model-then similar bikes in the same mfr or asian makes shud du-ur local library has a mechanic section too
Gday ian did you wash your bike before you put it away it could be the kill switch terminals could be dirty or your conecters give all a spray with wd 40 or what ever brand you have or you can use a special spray for electrical parts also it may pay to check the earthing to the frame as sometimes this can get a build up behind .if not it sounds like a job for the dealer or a auto electrician .hopes this helps cheers
