No gas coming through
We have a Creda double oven second hand but hardly used. When the gas supply is connected, the ignition wont work, and no gas comes through the oven. The fan however works. When the gas is disconnected, the ignition works. We dont understand, we have set the clock to manual, and done everything as we should have, any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Hi. you will need to replace two devices. you will need ot replace the ignitor and you will also need to replace the coil assembly that is located on the burner assembly. these two devices are faulty and, this is causing the interruption you are experiencing.
The coils actually control the gas valves. they provide the resistance that initiates the opening and closing of the valves and, the ignitor ignites the flame.
i have a Creda Gainsborough gas oven, the grill ignites fine but the ignition just keeps on sparking once the gas is lite, any ideas
