No Picture or Sound from ASTAR 32 inch LCD Television
My Astar 32 inch LCD Television is less than 2 years old. About a month ago I had difficulty turning the set on, I would get 4 mini screens of color. To solve the problem I would turn it off and turn it back on until it would reset. Now when I turn the television on I only get a black screen. The LCD light is green but the television does not give me a picture or sound. Initially to resolve this problem I would unplug the set wait a few minutes and replug it, now when I do this I get nothing, just the lcd light but no picture or sound.
Gentlemen, I bought an Astar LTV-32BG (V2) TV from MDG in Canada. It is only 16 months old and there is no picture. I called MDG and they say I am out of luck as Astor has gone bankrupt. I called for service and they say that it sounds like the power board is gone. They say they do not have the parts for and there is no way they can get the parts for it as the co is out of business. I paid over $1000. for it and it looks like I am stuck can you help me? The guy in service says that SHENZHEN KDX in China manufactured Astar in conjunction with the USA/Canada. Please advise. You can reach me by e-mail [email protected] or my cel phone 1-647 297 1902.
THIS FLAT SCREEN WORKED FINE UNTIL I REMOVED IOT FROM ITS WALL MOUNT, TRIED TO TURN IT ON NO LUCK, WILL NOT WORK.

Hello guys,
I have the Astar parts (part come with warranty and new) but, these not need to purchase the part as long the power board is not burned. any question call 323-767-6030.
There is more than one problem with. A it could be the main board that finally gave out. B the power board in your TV is not work, and now you can see a picture. Depending on how it's connect the screen could be burn out. but just what type of light comes on when you try to turn it on. if the green light comes on and stay on then it has to do with the picture not the power if you need help narrowing down the problem you can call 226-2211 My E Discounts. I'm a tech and we work with a Astar TV from time to time.
