Chances are, you can probably pull a relative "fake" pin together easily enough at your local hardware store. Simply measure the length the pin Should be(the point between holes), and the width of the hole, and take those measurements into any lowes or home depot. From there, either pick up a pin if they have one, or a bolt and a wingnut, and you'll be all set! Ensure that in either case, you get a pin that is at least one inch longer than the hole's depth, to give the pin some wiggle room.

I had a wooden log which went into the whole. and the upper part stood right on top of it, the key if finding the log with right width and height.
