No power came home the other day and the breaker was tripped in the kitchen I reset the breaker and then later noticed that the Microwave never came back on tried plugging it in to different outlets with zero response anything I can do? or is it trash now? and naturally the Mircowave has screws that are an odd star shape so first I must find a driver to get the panels off, so thought I would check with you experts to see if it was even worth trying.. Thanks so much for your time and knowledge
If your table top microwave tripped the breaker in your house.. and then when you reset it but if failed to come back on.. chances are the cost to repair would exceed the cost to replace so I would suggest you just purchase another one.. Microwave energy is not something that the novice should fool with and you or someone in your family could get seriously injured if you removed the cover and compromised the shielding in any way. Others may have differing opinions but this is just mine. hope this helps..
