No power leds. My Ac adapter is new with the right voltage coming out. I have to keep on unplugging the power cord then the green light comes on my Dell Inspiron 1300....I took the Laptop apart and solder the connection on the mother board but still have same problem. any more recommendation

You will probably find, that the power Jack on the Mother Board has fractured the solder joint, this is a common problem. You may have to get it to a shop.
